SAWI Basic Health Unit – KPK
Besides extending the light of education, SAWI is also focusing on the provision of medical facilities through Health Units. In the realm of health initiatives, SAWI has established a chain of Basic Health Units in far flung areas of KPK. The locals would also benefit from hygiene kits distributed by the organization. In the longer run, SAWI plans to construct hospitals equipped to deal with emergencies.

MOTHER AND CHILD CARE SECTION
The purpose of this service is to nurture mother, child health by spreading awareness through counseling aimed at disease prevention, and providing a nutritious staple plan. Free medical services would be offered to mother, child include:
- Medical checkups
- Ultrasound facility
- Awareness sessions
- Provision of nutrition supplements
Services for young children include:
- Anemia treatment
- Immunization / vaccination
- Nutritional Advice
EDUCATION:
SAWI has chalked out a major plan to establish a network of schools in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for imparting primary education. Once in place, a network of schools would herald a positive change and steer lives of the impoverished lot for the betterment. Scholarship program would foster ultimate growth opportunities for those bright young minds who in the absence of a benefactor would work odd jobs.
SAWI Educational Initiatives includes:
PRIMARY SCHOOLS:
The Social and Welfare Initiative will arrange for buildings, furniture, trained teachers, and playgrounds for these schools.
INFORMAL EDUCATION:
This type of schools will be established with the coordination of local communities and prominent citizens of the area. The building for these schools will be arranged by the local community while the Furniture, Fixture Books and part-time Teachers shall be provided by SAWI.
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM:
SAWI will grant scholarships to deserving students who have achieved outstanding performance.
